For an international marketing and communications consultancy company, in the Bergen op Zoom region, we are looking for a:
As an Account Executive you will be responsible for:
- Assist the Account Manager/ Director with the formulation of marketing communications and media relations plans for clients;
- Identify stories, develop key messages, select key media and schedule key connections;
- Use your expertise of the digital marketplace to assist in realising impactful social media strategies for clients;
- Assist with arrangements for (hybrid) events, exhibitions, press conferences, one-to-one interviews and press tours;
- Develop marketing support materials, directing design and content;
- Project manage, report and monitor media and influencer opportunities;
- Review content of press releases, blog posts, social media content and other marketing communications;
- Develop and maintain close relations with key influencers and media. Pitch stories to journalists;
- Work within agreed client budgets and internal cost budgets.
As an Account Executive you possess the following skills:
- Ideally 2 years of relevant experience in industrial/ technology B2B marketing communications either on the agency or client side of the business;
- University degree level education or HBO degree - Diploma of Higher Education;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to be strategic as well as hands-on;
- A second or third language is a plus;
- Ability to travel when needed.
